Hero Motocorp world’s largest two wheeler maker has unveiled 15 new offerings from there stable which will hit the showrooms soon.
The company says that this showcase is of technological excellence and innovation the company has gained since its gone solo post the split with Honda.
The 15 new products are based upon its existing line-up with cosmetic and also technological upgrades and will be launched by the end of 2013-14 fiscal year.
The unveiled products include
- Splendor iSMart
- New Splendor Pro
- 150cc Super Splendor
- Karizma R
- Karizma Zmr
- Glamour Fi
- Passion Pro
- HF-Deluxe Eco
Hero next-gen features includes
• i3s technology – (Idle Start and Stop System
• Integrated braking system- system of linking the front and rear brakes
• Electronic immobiliser – Prevents engine from starting if an incorrect key is inserted.
Hero Pleasure –.The New Pleasure will come with a mobile charging point, lockable glove box, under seat light, combination ignition lock and indicator for an open seat and side stand.
Splendor – The new Splendor iSmart comes with a first-in-class fuel saving start-stop system which shuts the engine down while the bike is at standstill. It also gets new Panels, graphic, paint schemes and new instrument panel.
The other commuter bikes – Splendor Pro, Super Splendor, HF Dawn and HF Deluxe will get new graphics, instrument panel with side stand indicator warning lights.
Karizma ZMR/R – The Karizma Series gets twin headlights, clip-on handlebar, a bulb winker, new side and front faring, new muffler cover, new belly pan, a redesigned seat, new exhaust end-canister and wider tyres, the engine specifications have not been disclosed yet.
Hero Xtreme- Hero Xtreme comes loaded with new features such as electronic immobiliser new instrument panel, restyled headlights, fuel tank, LED taillight and mobile charger, side-stand switch which cuts-off ignition in case the side stand is open while riding or starting the engine.
Hero Deluxe – The Hero Deluxe series gets new 3D graphics, new paint schemes with low rolling resistance tyres, air foils on the leg guards and distinctly styled mirrors.
Glamour/ Glamour Fi – New Hero Glamour has been unveiled in both carburetor and fuel-injected variants in the 125 cc category the changes on the glamour however remain only cosmetic and no changes have been done on the mechanical side.
Passion – The 100cc Passion Pro that will come with minor changes on the paint and graphics it also gets a side stand and service indicators and an all-black saree guard.
The company will showcase more new products at the upcoming Auto Expo in February 2014.
Hero’s updated line-up will have the same engine, which are currently being used in its current bikes and scooters.
